Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Glass Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive glass installation and repair, advanced skills in ADAS calibration, and a deep understanding of ICBC Glass Express procedures and billing. Candidates with Auto Glass ITA Certification and shop management experience are strongly preferred. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
  • Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure vehicles meet safety and manufacturer standards.
  • Accurately follow and manage ICBC Glass Express procedures, documentation, and billing processes.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively for efficient job completion.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and glass components before and after installations.
  • Handle and maneuver large glass panels with care and attention to safety.
  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Support shop operations, manage workflow, and assist with staff coordination as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, safety regulations, and emerging technology in automotive glass and ADAS systems.

Qualifications:

  • Auto Glass ITA Certification required.
  • Proven experience in ADAS calibration and familiarity with calibration equipment and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICBC Glass Express program, billing, and procedures is essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic.
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting during glass handling and installation.
  • Previous dealership or automotive shop management experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
